5 . Prison Break
An engineer installs himself in a prison he helped design, in order to help his brother who is a death-row inmate escape. Political schemes, double crossing inmates don’t make it easier.
The first three seasons of Prison Break were primarily filmed outside of Hollywood. The majority of the first season of the series was filmed on location in and around Chicago.
After it was closed down in 2002, Joliet Prison became the set of Prison Break in 2005, standing in as Fox River State Penitentiary on screen.
6 . Breaking Bad
ells the story of Walter White, a struggling high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Together with his former student Jesse Pinkman , White turns to a life of crime by producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine to secure his family’s financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal world.
Breaking Bad is a grand tour of Albuquerque, taking you past various important filming locations for the cult TV series, Breaking Bad.
The show was supposed to be originally filmed in Los Angeles, however the state of New Mexico offered tax rebates which convinced the filming crew to move to Albuquerque.
